The listed notes are not divided into stages, but the effect is easy to follow. Pomelo gives a juicy, slightly bitter citrus brightness, while fig adds the milky green of leaves and unripe fruit. Tobacco leaf here reads less as smoke and more as dried, hay-like greenery.
