8 Mystic Warrior, from the French house Spiritum, was created by Philippe Paparella-Paris and released in 2022. It is sweet and ambery above all, with woods, musk and resins close behind and a green herbal touch. It is shared and worn by anyone.

Coriander and clary sage open it with an aromatic, slightly spicy, herbal freshness. Frankincense follows, adding a bright, smoky resin like a lit church candle. The heart grows warmer and sweeter: honey brings a golden, slightly waxy sweetness, caramel a buttery richness and balsamic notes a sticky, resinous depth. In the base, labdanum and amber give a dark, leathery warmth, vanilla softens it, cedar and sandalwood provide a dry and creamy wooden frame, and ambrette and musk add a velvety, skin-like finish.
