Junoon Satin

Junoon Satin is a smooth, musky rose from Rasasi, marketed for women. Woody, musky, floral and ambery are all words everyone uses for it, in equal measure, which fits a formula of four notes in which each one is plainly present.

Rose is the floral centre, and it reads as a soft, warm, slightly powdery rose rather than a fresh or jammy one, so the scent feels gentle from the start. Around it sit dry woody notes that give the rose a clean, slightly pencil-like structure and keep it from becoming too sweet.
