The pyramid is clear. Bergamot and green mandarin open fresh and slightly tart. The heart is a full bouquet: rose and ylang-ylang give it richness, lily of the valley a dewy freshness, and violet leaves a green, slightly bitter edge that stops it from becoming syrupy. The base is sandalwood, vanilla and patchouli, a warm, creamy wood with a sweet finish.
