Dorasima

Dorasima, by the Swedish house Pana Dora, came out in 2022 and was composed by Ibrahim Al Zoabi. It is floral at heart, with woods and citrus close behind and quieter musky, ambery and leathery traces. Anyone can wear it.

The opening is bright with lemon and bergamot, giving a clean, zesty start. The heart is a full bouquet: rose, jasmine and orange blossom bring richness and a honeyed glow, while violet adds a fresher, slightly powdery lightness. As it dries down, the base deepens with agarwood and sandalwood, giving resinous and creamy woods, while leather and vanilla bring warmth and a smooth, faintly sweet finish, all wrapped in a soft musky veil.

Its mix of fresh citrus, bright flowers and warm woods makes it versatile, suited to daytime in spring and autumn and to dressier evenings when the base comes forward. It should appeal to people who like a floral fragrance with an oud-tinged backbone.
