Rum and cinnamon open with a boozy, warm, festive spice, supported by other spicy notes. Honey brings a golden, slightly waxy sweetness, and orchid a soft, creamy floral touch. Tobacco adds a dry, honeyed warmth in the heart. The base is rich and balmy: labdanum and benzoin give a deep, resinous amber, vanilla, tonka bean and coumarin a creamy, hay-like sweetness, patchouli earthiness, and white musk and musk a smooth finish.
It is shared and can be worn by anyone. Il Capriccio del Maestro suits autumn and winter evenings, festive occasions and cosy nights in, and should please people who love honeyed, boozy tobacco scents with plenty of spice.
