The structure is simple. It opens on rose petals, a fresh, slightly dewy rose. The heart is Bulgarian rose, a deeper, richer and slightly jammy rose that forms the centre of the fragrance. The base of patchouli, white musk and amber gives it darkness and warmth: patchouli adds an earthy, slightly chocolatey depth, amber brings a resinous glow, and white musk softens everything into a smooth, lasting finish.
Rose Night is worn by anyone. As the name suggests, it leans towards evening wear, and the patchouli-and-amber base makes it better suited to the cooler months than to a summer afternoon. It is likely to appeal to anyone who wants a rose that is full and warm rather than light and soapy.
