The opening pairs ginger and cardamom with bergamot and fig leaf, so the first impression is bright, warm and slightly leafy at once. In the heart, frankincense adds a dry, resinous lift while sea notes and cypress bring a salty, coastal air, softened by a little jasmine. The base settles into vetiver and cedar for an earthy, pencil-shaving dryness, with musk smoothing the edges and a thread of leather giving it some grip.
