Armonia

A soft floral with a sweet, slightly edible finish, Armonia comes from the Italian house Gattinoni and was released in 2018 as a feminine fragrance. Everyone who describes it reaches for the word floral first; about half also find it gourmand, and a minority pick up woody or citrus edges.

The composition is built around a bouquet of jasmine, freesia, orange blossom and rose, which together give it a clean, slightly honeyed brightness. Bergamot lifts the top with a touch of citrus freshness, so it does not feel heavy at first spray. Underneath, vanilla and tonka bean bring a smooth, creamy sweetness, while patchouli adds a little earthy depth that stops the sugar from taking over.

Armonia suits someone who wants a recognisable white-floral scent with warmth rather than crispness. Its vanilla and tonka base make it feel most at home in milder weather and in the evening, though the bergamot keeps it wearable earlier in the day too.
