Gdańsk by Gallivant is a rich, spicy amber with sweet, resinous and leathery depth, released by the British house in 2022 and composed by Julia Rodriguez Pastor. It is worn by anyone.

Cardamom, nutmeg and saffron open it with a warm, golden spice, joined by plum, which adds a dark, ripe sweetness, and rose, which gives a soft floral touch. The heart turns to honey and tobacco, thick and sweet against dry and leafy. The base is deep and long: labdanum, styrax, incense and ambergris give a resinous, smoky, slightly salty warmth, leather a supple darkness, and sandalwood, patchouli, cypriol, vanilla and musk a smooth, lasting finish.

It is a cold-weather, evening scent by nature. Anyone who likes honeyed, spiced ambers with tobacco and leather should find it rewarding.
