Black pepper and saffron open it with dry, warm heat, saffron adding a leathery, honeyed glow. The heart brings osmanthus, an apricot-like flower with a suede-soft texture, and orris root, which gives cool, powdery elegance. Underneath, agarwood provides a dark, resinous, slightly smoky woodiness, framed by leather and styrax, a balsamic resin. Ambrette adds a warm, musky, pear-tinged softness, and sandalwood a creamy finish.
