Mellow Yellow

Mellow Yellow, from the Italian house Astrophil & Stella, was composed by Cécile Zarokian and released in 2020. It is woody at its core, with musky, floral and citrus facets in equal support and a light touch of spice. Anyone can wear it.

Lemon and orange give it a sunny, zesty opening, brightened further by green notes with their fresh, leafy snap. Orange blossom then brings a honeyed, luminous floral warmth, while cloves add a soft, warming spice. Iris and carrot seeds give a cool, earthy powderiness that adds texture. The base is smooth and woody: cashmere wood offers a soft, musky, slightly sweet warmth, vetiver an earthy dryness, and white musk with musk a clean, cotton-soft finish over a blend of woody notes.
