Saheb by Ard Al Zaafaran is a woody oud that anyone can wear. Everyone describes it as woody, and a third also find it sweet, musky or citrusy.

The formula is short and the notes are listed together. Bergamot opens it with a brief, bright citrus. Agarwood, or oud, is the centre: a dark, dry, slightly leathery wood with the medicinal edge the material is known for. Patchouli deepens it with earth and a hint of cocoa-like dryness. Vanilla sits underneath, a soft sweetness that rounds off the oud rather than turning it into a dessert, and musk gives a smooth, lasting finish that keeps the whole thing wearable.

There are no community reports yet on how long it lasts or how far it reaches. Oud, patchouli and vanilla are autumn and winter material, best in the evening, and suit someone who wants a straightforward, traditional oud without a long list of extras.
