L'Aventure Blanche

L'Aventure Blanche from Al Haramain Perfumes, released in 2017 for women, is a clean floral with a citrus side. Everyone who describes it calls it floral, about half also find it citrusy, and a minority pick out sweet, woody, aromatic and ambery touches. The mood is fresh and bright rather than heavy.

Lemon and bergamot provide the sparkling citrus opening, and blackcurrant adds a tart, slightly green fruitiness. The floral heart is built on lily of the valley, jasmine and rose: the lily of the valley fresh and dewy, the jasmine richer and more rounded, the rose soft and classic. Orris root brings a cool, powdery smoothness, and lavender a clean, aromatic lift. Sandalwood and amber give the base a gentle, creamy warmth that stops the scent from feeling thin.
