Cardamom opens it with a warm, aromatic spice. Sage follows, green, herbal and slightly savoury, and jasmine provides the floral element, warm rather than dewy. Vetiver gives an earthy, dry, faintly smoky wood, and ambrette, the musk mallow seed, brings a soft, natural musk with a slightly nutty, skin-like quality. With only five notes, the scent evolves gently rather than in stages.
Wearers have not yet reported on longevity or projection. By character it suits autumn and spring, daytime and relaxed evenings, and someone who prefers dry, quiet scents to sweet or fruity ones. It is sold in two bottle sizes.
