Grapefruit, lime and bergamot give a tart, bitter-bright citrus opening, and galbanum adds a sharp, resinous, snapped-stem greenness. Blackcurrant and currant leaf bring a tangy, slightly sulphurous fruitiness and a green, leafy edge, and peach adds a soft, juicy sweetness that accounts for the gourmand impression. Jasmine gives the heart a little floral warmth. The base of oakmoss, vetiver and musk is dry and earthy, the moss mossy and bitter, the vetiver rooty, the musk soft.
Ten Fresh Notes is a shared fragrance, worn by anyone. Citrus, galbanum and blackcurrant are at home in spring and summer and in daytime, and it should appeal to people who like green chypre-style scents with fruit in them.
