Pinkling

Pinkling from Paris Corner, released in 2025, is a cherry and milk gourmand with a smoky, resinous base. Everyone who describes it calls it sweet, and about half also find it spicy, musky, floral, resinous and warm with amber.

Cherry opens it ripe and jammy, with milk adding a creamy, soft sweetness. White flowers give the heart a clean floral touch, and saffron a dry, slightly leathery spice. The base is where it darkens: nagarmotha brings an earthy, oud-like smokiness, a smoke note adds a dry, burnt edge, benzoin a sweet, balsamic resin, and amber and musk a warm, smooth, lasting finish.

It is worn by anyone and suits autumn and winter and the evening, for someone who likes cherry and cream but wants smoke and resin underneath rather than more sugar.
