Stallion Soul

Stallion Soul is a dark floral from Ojar, composed by Michel Girard and released in 2021 for anyone to wear. Everyone describing it names flowers, most find it woody, and a third pick up spice, musk, amber and leather.

The notes come without a pyramid, but they split into light and shade. Pink pepper gives a bright, slightly fizzy opening. Rose, jasmine and violet form the floral heart, the violet adding a cool, powdery softness between the two richer flowers. The base is where the name makes sense: oud and cypriol bring a smoky, animalic earthiness, leather and incense add depth and a dry, resinous haze, and vanilla with musk softens the whole thing enough to keep it wearable.

There are not yet enough reports to say how long it lasts or how far it carries. The character points to autumn and winter and to evening wear, for someone who wants rose with oud and leather rather than rose on its own.
