Diana

Diana is a woody floral from Masque Milano, composed by Vanina Muracciole and released in 2024 as a feminine fragrance. Woody is the word everyone uses; three quarters also call it floral, about half musky, and a quarter find it green, aromatic or citrusy.

Bergamot and litchi give the opening a bright, slightly sweet and juicy start, with lavender adding a clean, herbal, almost soapy freshness. Tunisian neroli brings a honeyed orange-blossom brightness, geranium a green, rosy sharpness, and angelica root a distinctive earthy, celery-like, faintly musky note that gives the heart its character. The base is built on Virginia cedar, dry and pencil-like, and Australian sandalwood, creamy and smooth, with white musk softening everything into a clean, skin-close finish.

The combination of green florals and dry woods suits daytime wear in spring and autumn, and it should appeal to someone who likes clean, slightly herbal scents with a polished woody drydown rather than obvious sweetness.
