Daisy Love Glow

Daisy Love Glow, released by Marc Jacobs in 2024 and marketed for women, is a soft, woody musk built on a very short formula. Woody is how everyone describes it, and about half also find it musky, floral or citrusy, which fits a scent of four notes in which the wood and musk do most of the work.

Bergamot opens it with a bright, slightly bitter citrus, and lemon blossom adds a light, sweet, faintly honeyed floral freshness that is the only flower in the scent. Cashmere wood is the heart and the main presence, a soft, smooth, slightly musky and velvety wood that gives the scent its warmth without any sharpness. Musk is the base, clean, cottony and skin-like, and as the citrus fades the cashmere wood and musk together form a quiet, warm, slightly sweet glow that stays close to the body.

It is an easy scent for daily wear in most seasons, for women who like clean, soft skin scents with a woody warmth and very little decoration.
