Alamut by Lorenzo Villoresi, created by the perfumer himself in 2006, is a dense, opulent floral with a resinous, leathery depth. Flowers lead, with wood in support and lighter musky, resinous, ambery and leathery touches.

Its notes are listed as one rich blend. Tuberose, jasmine, ylang-ylang, rose, orange blossom, narcissus and osmanthus build a lush, heady bouquet, creamy and honeyed, with a hint of hay from the narcissus. Beneath them, Brazilian rosewood, sandalwood and amyris give smooth wood, patchouli an earthy depth, and labdanum, benzoin and amber a balsamic, ambery warmth.
