Isles Loîntaines

Isles Loîntaines by Keiko Mecheri, released in 2010, is a creamy tropical white floral for women. Everyone describes it as floral; about half also find it sweet, and a minority notice resinous and amber-like sides.

Tahitian tiare flower and tiare flower are the centre, the gardenia-like Pacific bloom that smells of coconut, petals and warm skin, and gardenia and tuberose double down on that creamy, heady richness. Jasmine and rose fill out the bouquet, the jasmine warm, the rose soft. Almond and sweet almond add a marzipan sweetness that blends with the tiare's natural creaminess. The base is vanilla for smoothness, benzoin for a sweet, balsamic resin and amber for a long, warm glow.

It reads as a lush, warm-weather and evening fragrance, suited to someone who loves tiare and gardenia and wants a scent that smells of a tropical island at dusk, sweet and enveloping rather than fresh.
