Fleur D'Iris

Fleur D'Iris, launched by Karl Lagerfeld in 2025, is a soft, powdery floral built around iris. Everyone who describes it calls it floral, about half find it musky, and a minority notice a sweet, gourmand side and a flash of citrus.

Mandarin orange gives the opening a brief sunny brightness before the flowers take over. Iris is the main event, cool and powdery, with the Diviniris material layered on top; cyclamen and orchid keep the bouquet fresh and slightly dewy, and orange blossom adds a honeyed, white-petal warmth. Heliotrope and vanilla then bring an almond-like, marzipan softness, and musk smooths the drydown into something clean and skin-like.

It is a feminine scent in the classic sense, gentle rather than loud, and the kind of thing that works for daytime wear in spring, at the office or anywhere a quiet, well-mannered powdery floral is wanted.
