Green Bubble

Green Bubble is a woody scent with a bitter-green, slightly herbal twist, released by the Italian house Jusbox in 2018 and composed by Julien Rasquinet. It is worn by anyone.

Grapefruit opens it with a tart, bitter citrus, joined by wormwood and cannabis, which give a sharp, green, resinous herbal character that is the scent's distinctive signature. Saffron adds a warm, leathery spice in the middle, and honey a thick, slightly animalic sweetness that balances the bitterness. The base is woody and resinous: cedar and sandalwood provide dry and creamy woods respectively, patchouli an earthy depth, and labdanum and amber a warm, balsamic finish.

It suits autumn and spring and works for daytime or evening alike. Anyone who likes herbal, green woods with a touch of honeyed warmth should find it an interesting change from the usual fresh woods.
