Nectar

Nectar is a honeyed citrus from the Italian house Etro, released in 2024 and worn by anyone. Citrus is how everyone describes it, and a quarter also notice sweetness or musk, which fits a scent built almost entirely on orange in its various forms.

Bergamot, tangerine, bitter orange and sweet orange together make up the opening and most of the heart, and the effect is a full spectrum of orange: the bitter, slightly green sharpness of bergamot and bitter orange, the juicy brightness of tangerine, and the rounder, sweeter warmth of orange itself. Honey runs through the middle, adding a sticky, floral, faintly waxy sweetness that turns the citrus from a cologne into something softer and more golden. Musk is the only base note, a clean, gentle warmth that holds the orange and honey close to the skin as they fade.

It is a daytime scent for warm weather, worn by anyone who likes citrus but wants it sweet and rounded rather than sharp.
