Indigo

Indigo is a cool, minty aromatic from the Swiss house Davidoff, released in 2025 and marketed for men. Aromatic is how everyone describes it, and about half also find it spicy or woody, which fits a short formula built on mint, lavender and sandalwood.

Mint and peppermint open it together, and the effect is bracing: a cold, sharp, clean freshness with a slight sweetness, more like the leaf than like toothpaste, and it sets a crisp, wide-awake tone. Lavender follows, herbal, soapy and slightly camphorous, and it is what gives the scent its aromatic, barbershop character and the faintly spicy edge some people notice. Sandalwood is the only base note, creamy, smooth and gently warm, and it softens the mint and lavender into a mild, skin-like finish rather than letting them stay sharp to the end.
