It opens with petitgrain, citron, orange and bergamot, a bright, slightly bitter citrus start with the green, leafy edge that petitgrain brings. The heart is spare and aromatic: lavender for a clean, herbal freshness and patchouli for earthy depth. Leather and vanilla form the base, the leather smooth rather than rough and the vanilla rounding it into a soft, lightly sweet finish, which is where the name comes from.
Community reports on longevity, sillage and season have not yet been gathered. On its notes, Cuir Sensuel is a fresh take on leather, wearable in daytime and in milder weather, for a man who wants leather without heaviness, and it is sold in a 100 ml bottle.
