Absolu Aventus

Absolu Aventus by Creed, released in 2025 for men, is a spicy citrus with a fruity, sweet edge and a dry woody base. Everyone who describes it calls it spicy, three quarters find it citrus, and about half add gourmand and woody, so expect brightness and heat before the woods settle in.

The opening is broad: grapefruit, lemon and bergamot for a sharp, clean lift, black currant and pineapple for a tart, juicy sweetness, and pink pepper for a first flash of spice. The heart is pure warmth, with ginger, cardamom and cinnamon layering fresh, cool and hot spices over the fruit. Vetiver and patchouli in the base dry it down to a smoky, earthy finish that keeps the sweetness in check.

More than half of wearers find it long lasting and most describe the sillage as moderate, with a quarter calling it strong. It is voted equally for spring and autumn and splits almost evenly between day and night: a year-round scent for someone who wants a sharper, spicier take on fruit and wood.
