Mystery Tobacco

Mystery Tobacco by Carolina Herrera was composed by Quentin Bisch in 2016 and is worn by anyone. It is a woody scent first, with spicy, sweet, floral, aromatic and citrus facets each noticed by about a third of wearers.

Tobacco is the heart of it, dry and slightly sweet, warmed by ginger and softened by tonka bean, which brings a hay-like, vanilla-edged smoothness. Osmanthus adds an apricot-and-leather floral nuance that suits tobacco well, and citruses lend a light brightness at the edges. Artemisia gives a bitter, herbal twist, while patchouli, guaiac wood and vetiver anchor it with earthy, smoky dryness.
