Aldehydes give the opening a sparkling, slightly soapy lift, and solar notes add a warm, sun-on-skin brightness. Star anise brings a sweet, liquorice-like spice. The heart is soft rather than lush: heliotrope gives a powdery, almond-and-vanilla floral note, orange blossom a honeyed freshness, and jasmine a bit of body. The base is where the woodiness lives: cashmere wood, a smooth, slightly musky synthetic wood, vetiver for a dry, grassy edge, and amber and musk for warmth and a clean finish.
