Luxe Gardenia

Luxe Gardenia from Yardley, the British house, is a floral scent that most people also describe as sweet and fresh, with amber, leather and citrus mentioned by a minority. No release year or perfumer is recorded, and it is positioned as a feminine fragrance.

The notes read like a beach in flower: gardenia and frangipani give the creamy white-petal heart, orange blossom adds a cleaner floral lift, and bergamot brings a touch of brightness at the edges. Coconut and coconut nectar bring a milky sweetness, sea salt keeps that from turning sugary, and vanilla and amber warm the finish. The salty-coconut thread is what lifts it out of the usual gardenia soliflore.
