Liwa by WIDIAN, released in 2017, is a woody rose-oud worn by anyone. Wood leads, with flowers strong behind and lighter amber, spicy and citrus facets.
The notes are presented as one blend. Bergamot gives a bright opening, while artemisia adds a bitter, herbal edge and saffron a warm, leathery spice. White rose, rose, jasmine and geranium form a rich, velvety and slightly green floral heart. Agarwood brings a smoky, dry woodiness, deepened by patchouli, cedar, sandalwood and vetiver, while incense and amber add a soft, resinous haze and golden warmth.
