Seven notes are listed, without stages. Lemon opens clean and bright, and clary sage adds a herbal, slightly musky, hay-like green. Moss and oakmoss give the central impression: damp, bitter, forest-floor green with a cool, shaded feel. Walnut is the unusual note, bringing a dry, nutty, slightly bitter woodiness. Cedar provides a crisp, pencil-shaving wood in the base, and benzoin a soft, sweet, balsamic resin that warms the finish without making it sweet.
