Mystic Geranium

Mystic Geranium is a Tory Burch fragrance from 2022, built around a single flower. Everyone who describes it calls it floral, and about half add woody, musky or citrus, which maps neatly onto its short list of notes.

With only five ingredients named, the development is simple and transparent. Bergamot brings a clean, slightly bitter citrus brightness at the start. Geranium then takes centre stage: it smells green and rosy with a faint minty edge, less sweet than a true rose. Lotus adds a watery, airy floral softness beside it. Cedar gives the drydown a dry, pencil-shaving wood, and musk smooths the whole thing into a soft, skin-like finish.

It is marketed to women. No community data on longevity or sillage has been collected yet, so test it on skin before deciding. The light, green, musky structure suits daytime, spring and summer, and anyone who finds most florals too sugary and prefers something crisp and uncomplicated.
