Red apple, bergamot and elemi resin open it, so the first stage is crisp and fruity with a bright, lemony, slightly peppery resin. The heart is chestnut, cardamom, labdanum and amber, which turns it nutty, warm and softly sweet with a balsamic depth. The base is a stack of woods, Atlas, Virginia and Texas cedar with sandalwood and akigalawood, dry and smooth with a faint spicy, patchouli-like edge from the akigalawood.
Most wearers find it long lasting, and projection is moderate for most with a quarter calling it strong. Autumn and winter lead the season votes, and day and night are chosen about equally.
