Electric Cherry by Tom Ford, released in 2023, is a bright, spicy cherry scent that stays light rather than syrupy. Spice is what most people notice first, with sweet, musky and floral sides in roughly equal shares.
It opens with cherry and ginger, the fruit tart and juicy, the ginger giving it a fizzy, peppery lift. The heart is jasmine sambac, a warm, slightly heady white flower that adds body without making it heavy. The base is musk and pink pepper with ambrettolide, a soft, clean musk that keeps the finish sheer and skin-like.
Most wearers report moderate longevity, with about a quarter finding it weak, and the trail is moderate or close. It is voted for summer and spring and mainly for daytime.
