Tiffany & Co Sheer

Light, green and floral, Tiffany & Co Sheer was composed by Daniela Andrier for Tiffany in 2019. Everyone describes it as floral and most also call it green; about a third find a sweet, fruity side and a similar share notice the musk underneath.

The greenness comes from mandarin leaf and petitgrain, both of which smell of crushed citrus leaves and twigs rather than the fruit itself, so the overall impression is crisp and slightly bitter in a pleasant way. Black currant adds a tart, juicy brightness. The flowers are rose and ylang-ylang, the rose fresh and the ylang faintly creamy, and iris brings a cool, powdery, almost suede-like softness. Musk closes it with a clean, skin-like warmth that keeps the whole thing sheer, as the name promises.

This is a feminine scent for people who like florals transparent and leafy rather than sweet or heavy, and its freshness makes it an easy daytime choice.
