Wind Heat is a woody fragrance from The House of Oud, released in 2016 and worn by anyone. Wood leads clearly, with spice behind it and smaller musky, floral, leather and citrus touches.
Bergamot and pink pepper open with a bright, sparkling freshness, and nutmeg adds a warm, slightly sweet spice. Iris brings a cool, powdery elegance to the heart. The base is built on woods: cedar and Virginia cedar give a dry, pencil-shavings character, agarwood, or oud, adds a darker, smoky depth, and vetiver an earthy dryness. Suede and musk soften the finish with a smooth, skin-like texture.
Its dry, smoky woods suit autumn and winter, evenings and smarter occasions, though the fresh start keeps it wearable in daytime too. It should appeal to someone who wants a refined oud-and-cedar scent with a powdery iris touch rather than a heavy, sweet amber.
