Gambling is a woody fragrance from The House of Oud, composed by Maurizio Cerizza and released in 2023. Wood dominates, with musk and resin as the main supporting themes and lighter sweet, amber and citrus accents.
Bergamot and galbanum open with a bitter-green, citrusy sharpness, Sichuan pepper adds a tingling spice, and elemi brings a resinous, lemony-pine freshness. Coffee and whiskey then give the heart a darker, roasted and boozy warmth. Underneath, cedar and vetiver build a dry, slightly smoky woodiness, softened by a smooth layer of musk.
