Insignia, created by Alexandra Carlin for the British house Thameen in 2022, is a floral fragrance built around rose, with about two thirds of wearers also finding it green and woody. A third pick up leather and citrus as well.
Damask rose and geranium form the floral core, the geranium adding a slightly sharp, leafy edge to the rose. Bitter orange and bay leaf give a brisk, aromatic opening, and fig contributes a green, milky quality that keeps the flowers from feeling too formal. Beneath, suede brings a soft, supple leather feel, whiskey adds a warm, slightly boozy richness, and sandalwood and vetiver settle it into a dry, earthy wood base.
