Bergamot gives the opening a light, slightly bitter brightness. Jasmine and iris are the heart, the jasmine warm and softly heady, the iris cool, rooty and powdery, and the two together create a smooth, slightly cosmetic texture. Mineral notes add a clean, stony dryness that is unusual among florals and keeps it from feeling sweet or lush. Cedar brings a dry, pencil-like wood to the base, vanilla a gentle warmth, and musk a soft, skin-like finish.
