Fleur d'Osmanthus

Fleur d'Osmanthus is a citrus fragrance from Roger & Gallet with a clear floral heart and a gentle woody base. It was composed by Nathalie Lorson and released in 2011, and alongside the citrus it carries soft fruity, green and resinous touches.

Grapefruit and lemon zest give a sharp, sparkling brightness, and petitgrain adds a green, slightly bitter twist from orange leaves. Osmanthus, the flower in the name, has a delicate apricot-like scent, which is echoed by a note of apricot itself, while neroli adds a clean, sunny orange-blossom glow. Underneath, patchouli and vetiver give an earthy, dry structure, and benzoin a soft, resinous sweetness.
