Rhizome 05

Rhizome 05 is a two-note composition from the Italian brand Rhizome, released in 2019. People describe it as spicy and ambery in equal measure, and those two words cover the entire formula.

Caraway is the spice, and it is an unusual choice for perfume. Its scent is warm, dry and slightly bitter, somewhere between cumin and anise, with a bready, rye-like quality that most people recognise from the kitchen before they can name it.
