Prodigieux Absolu de Parfum is a parfum-strength release from the French house Nuxe, launched in 2018 for women. Everyone who describes it calls it gourmand, and about half find it floral too.
The composition is simple and built on three notes. Tiare flower, a Tahitian gardenia, gives a creamy, sun-warmed white floral with a slightly coconut-like softness. Vanilla brings a smooth sweetness that is more comforting than sugary, and tonka bean adds a warm, almond-and-hay depth that holds the whole thing close to the skin. There is no sharp opening or dramatic change over time; it reads as one warm, enveloping accord from start to finish.
Wearers have not yet reported on longevity or projection, although parfum concentrations are generally the most persistent. The character suits cooler evenings and anyone who likes a soft, skin-scent style of vanilla rather than a loud one.
