Nina Illusion is a sweet citrus from Nina Ricci, released in 2024 and composed by Olivier Cresp and Nicolas Bonneville. Everyone who describes it finds it both gourmand and citrus, and about a third also notice spicy, woody and floral sides.
The notes come as a single list. The citrus side is built on yuzu, Italian lemon and lemon, a sharp and slightly bitter zest that keeps the opening lively. Pink pepper adds a light sparkle of spice, and orange blossom brings a soft white-floral sweetness. The gourmand side comes from raspberry and vanilla, with Bourbon vanilla in particular giving a rich, almost creamy warmth. Patchouli anchors the base with a touch of earthiness so the sweetness does not float away.
