Musc Intense is a floral musk with small sweet, green, woody and amber touches. It comes from Nicolai Parfumeur Createur, released in 2012, and was composed by Patricia de Nicolai.
Despite the name, flowers lead. Pear gives the opening a crisp, juicy sweetness and galbanum a sharp green edge, so it starts fresh rather than heavy. The heart is Turkish rose and rose with jasmine, violet and carnation, a full, slightly powdery and gently spicy bouquet. The base is where the musk earns the title: musk and a touch of civet give it a warm, animalic depth, while sandalwood and amber add creaminess and warmth.
It is a feminine scent. There are no community reports yet on longevity, sillage or season, so there is no firm wear data; a rose and musk composition with this much warmth suits cooler months and evenings, and people who like classic French florals with a slightly animal undertone.
