Nejma 1 is a rose and oud from the French house Nejma, released in 2014 and composed by Alice Lavenat. Everyone who describes it calls it floral, about half add woody, and a minority notice spicy and amber sides. It is worn by anyone.
Thyme gives a dry, herbal, slightly green opening, and saffron adds a leathery, faintly bitter warmth. Bulgarian rose and rose form the heart, rich and slightly jammy, with rose hip adding a tart, fruity edge and jasmine a warm, heady sweetness. Oud and patchouli make up the base, dark, earthy and lightly smoky, and incense threads through it with a dry, resinous coolness.
