Blue Sail by Nautica, released in 2017, is a masculine fragrance that people describe first as green, with a fresh side that most wearers notice. A third also find it sweet, musky or ambery.
The notes come as one list. Green leaves and green notes give a crisp, leafy opening, and water notes add a cool, aqueous lightness. Apple brings a sweet, juicy touch that accounts for the gourmand votes. Moss and oakmoss underneath add a dry, forest-floor greenness that gives the scent some depth, while musk and amber soften the finish with a warm, skin-like glow.
