The pyramid is reduced to three notes. Bergamot opens it with a bright, slightly bitter citrus lift. The heart is pistachio, a nutty, creamy, faintly green note that gives the scent its distinctive character without reading as obviously sweet. The base is patchouli, earthy and dark, which is the Angel family's signature and the source of the woody impression that wearers rank alongside the citrus. The combination suggests something simpler and drier than the original Angel while keeping its backbone.
