Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel from the British brand Molton Brown (2017) is green, woody and fresh in equal measure, with spice, flowers and citrus each noticed by about half of those who describe it.
Bergamot and cardamom give a bright, cool, slightly spicy opening. Sea water and sea notes bring a salty, breezy, coastal freshness. Fig leaf and violet leaf add a green, milky and cucumber-like leafiness, and jasmine a soft floral touch. The base is woody and clean, with cypress for a green, resinous wood, cedar for a dry structure and musk for a clean, skin-close finish.
